A Little Bit of January Goes A Long Way!
Like most families in the Midwest right now, were are scrambling for things to do during days and days of cold weather. Finally! Today was 47 and sunny and we all went outside to receive warmth on our faces and fresh air in our lungs.
We still needed to dress warmly, but it was a comfortable warm, not a struggling-not-to-freeze type of thing. This is a big deal in mid-January here.
Do NOT throw snow at the photographer!
Sissy and Evan - he looks cold, but he was perfectly happy being outside after 1 month of frigid temps kept us cooped up.

47 degree temps still did little to melt our snow piles.

Sheridan wanted to help Daddy break up ice.
Our January in-door time has included many activities. Ethan put together his Lego truck all by himself.
Sheridan had her best friend, Annie, spend the night Saturday night. They both have two younger brothers and like to pretend they're sisters. They even look a lot alike!
You can't even tell who's who from the back! Sheridan is in the purple. Funny they look more like siblings than Sheridan and her brothers!
