Honoring Thy Fathers
On this Father's Day I'd like to give all the Dad's in my life their due.
My own Daddy, who is always glad to see me and my family. And loves the little, simple things in life. And works hard every day of his life. Love you Dad!
My father-in-law, Phil, who I can sit and talk to like my own father. Who is always there for us with good advice and encouragement. Love you Phil!
To Grandpa Cecil and Grandpa Richard - fathers, grandfathers, and great-grandfathers. They have been on this Earth for 90+ years working hard to provide and care for their families.
And in memory of Grandpa Jim, whom I have not forgotten.
And lastly, to my Phil, who really is the best father. Don't think I take him for granted. I know how lucky I am and will never forget it!
The kids got to pick out whatever they thought Phil wanted for Father's Day. So he ended up with cloth shop towels from Evan, a hack saw from Sheridan, and a hanging work light for the garage from Ethan. I did guide them just a little, otherwise he would have ended up with paint brushes, a pipe wrench, and wheel cleaner. I love you honey!
