  CANINES AND
CUMULONIMBUS CLOUDS

I am including both in this post.  Macy-Dog is 5 months.  She has gotten so big!  She looks so darn serious but she is the funniest creature ever.  I'm pretty sure she thinks she's human.  The kids spend every single day playing with and training her.

FINALLY, some weather pictures!  These are not Hurricane Isaac pics, which dropped 5 1/2 inches on us (YES!!!!!).  Everyone reading this was (and still is) probably affected by the worst drought since 1895, when weather record-keeping started.  It has been a tedious summer of watering and playing plant-doctor.   I lost a handful of shrubs, but overall, it was better than I thought it would be.  The water bill, however, was not.  Anyway, there was this one thunderstorm that gave us NO rain, but I got some pictures.  My weather photography is just plain boring this year...unless you like burnt and brown.

Grandma Virginia called just to tell me, 'quick, get your camera out!'

Sometime in August came the teaser t-storm, rolling over and to the north of our house.
Big thunderhead!
Over Jon and Taylor's home....
Best shot of this little storm over Bonner Springs.  I'd have taken rain over the photo-op!
