Happy Mommy's Day...

I am so thankful to be a mother to these three kids. I am thankful to have a mother who showed me the ropes for the past 34 years, and grandmothers who passed on their traditions and advice to me. I feel blessed to watch my girlfriends and family members become mothers and experience what I have experienced.

Yesterday we went to Wellsville to celebrate Mother's Day. I had mentioned to my mother, "we didn't get you that much" (I got her a hanging flower which is MY tradition on Mother's Day). She said, "I get all my thanks and enjoyment just from watching my children and grandchildren". I feel the same way about my children so I do know what she means. I couldn't want more and that is sincere.

Here is the first picture of all the grandkids with my parents. Camden is almost 2 weeks old. Ethan was upset because he wanted to hold the baby.

The cousins. Oddly, Carrie and I BOTH had cameras that ran out of batteries so we got no pictures of us with our children, or with our mother or grandmothers. Maybe next weekend at Sheridan's party...

Ethan and Sheridan with their mud boots on, getting ready to go to the creek to try and catch frogs. Sheridan DID inherit some of my tomboy tendencies after all!

Walking with Grandpa down to the creek. They had gotten to ride in the back of the truck on the way to the barn. This brings back a flood of memories from my own childhood. I think we spent more time in the back than in the front, riding on the spare tire and hoping not to fall out.

Evan is really getting funnier at this age. He is getting a sense of humor as baby senses of humor go. Here is my little banana after bath...he thought it was entertaining to be wrapped up tight.

More baby sense of humor, perhaps more on my part than his. Yes, his face is stained orange from the carrots he just had, hence the bath.

My little girl on her 7th birthday, which was May 8th.
