Two weeks and counting....and Evan's birthday.....
We have just a few more weeks in this townhome. Thank God. This is getting old fast but I'm trying to still be grateful. Our situation could be a whole lot worse...like we could be making two mortgage payments.
Evan turned one yesterday!!! I don't have a baby anymore and I am just a little bit sad. His first steps were at his birthday party at my parents' if you can believe that. I was happy everyone got to see it. Then he had a little party at his daycare and had cake and presents. I would post pictures but just can't get it to work on this laptop, so will post them all once we get into our home.
Sheridan starts 2nd grade Monday. I told her I just can't believe she's going into 2nd grade. She said, "Mom, that's what you said when I went into Kindergarten". I told her, "Get used it, you'll be hearing it for the rest of your life!"
Ethan started Pre-K, which he calls "Pretty K". He feels like a big boy now, told me "we don't take baby naps in Pretty K". For some reason he has just started reading, I mean like really reading. Sounds out all the simple words and can read Evan's little baby books. He ought to be ready for Kindergarten next year!
Phil and I are doing fine, just trying to keep the kids busy to pass the time quickly. Oh that and find someone to let us keep coming over for laundry. :)
Will contact everyone with final move info/numbers, etc.
