The Annual Fall Bonfire

Every year in honor of Carrie and Brad's birthday (October 31st) we have a bonfire down at the farm. It's so fun to bundle up and cook all your food over the fire!

Ethan loved the taste of the s'more but my texture-sensitive child could not finish it because his hands were too sticky. Honestly!

Grandpa loves it when I call him "grouchy old fart" because his old-fashioned mind thinks ladies shouldn't say "fart". I tell him I'm not necessarily a lady. Then he shakes his fist at me and says, "watch it kid".
Sound familiar anyone?

Sher and Erin playing in the soybeans. Once again cousins, sound familiar?

Sweet babers with his birthday Mommy - happy 28th you grouchy old fart! :)

Jonner in top bonfire form. You are such a man's man. Literally.

Pumpkin Patch

We took the kids to Kerby Farm near Bonner Springs. It was so cold this year we didn't hang around and play too long. I think it topped out at 48 that day.

Me and my little Popsicles

Evan loved playing with the tractors and trucks, he even makes the right noises

See Evan wearing shoes? He doesn't like them one bit but it's the only way to keep socks on this child!

A few extras...

We discovered the boys all had football jerseys - we're still cheering for our poor Chiefs who FINALLY won a game last week!
