We are happy it's February because we know Spring is thinking about making an appearance in another few weeks. It also means I need to start getting my seeds together to start in mid-Feb. I probably will try tomotoes, zucchini, broccoli, and okra seeds, plus I usuall try to throw some perennial seeds in as well. Then in mid-March I will go ahead and plant my spinach, lettuce, carrots, and maybe peas. Gardening will be a challenge this year - I don't know what kind of soil I've got, I am nervous about the potential lack of sunlight, and we have a major deer problem. My green thumb will get a work-out this year and there will be lots of trial-and-error.
Stuck inside for another morning of playing and listening to "I'm bored". Time to get out the arts and crafts.
Taken last weekend - Evan is crazy about wearing socks on his hands. I mean for hours at a time.
Snow pics from this morning - got another few inches. It's pretty and such a quiet snow that it just floated onto anything.
Pretty winter scene in our backyard
Wow, thanks for reminding me that it's almost time to plant. We'd better get our act together over here if we want a garden this year. Those snow pics are so beautiful. And Evan is awesome.
ReplyDeleteYeah, moving and then remembering to do everything you used to do is a challenge! How is the sun situation in your yard Amanda?
