Kicking Off March

My Cereal Thief

As promised, here are two pictures of Evan sneaking cereal. I tried to get a covert photo-op but he saw me and, of course, smiled because he knows he's cute and will get away with it. I am noticing in these pictures he snatched the Corn Pops and Froot Loops. Like he's going to swipe the healthy Cheerios or fiber cereal! The boxes only fit on the bottom shelf of the pantry; I guess we'll just have to watch him like a hawk...

Evan is 1 1/2!

His mouth and feet never stop moving. He can say about 20 words and is starting to climb and stand on everything. And screech and throw and laugh and flush every toilet 18 times. We love and cherish him. He still has his dimples and his temperament is right smack-dab in the middle between Sheridan and Ethan.

Spring Break

Today starts Spring Break in the De Soto school district. All three kids are home today with me. You think I'm going to let them run around and play ALL day? Nope. First they had to make their beds, bring down dirty clothes, help with laundry, and then they helped clean the kitchen. This was all by 9:00 a.m. by the way.

THEN they got to play and all jack around together. Evan is almost out of his sock-on-hands phase and has graduated to the glasses-on-face phase. Tomorrow Sheridan will go to Wichita to stay with Juju and Grandpa Phil over Spring Break - she is excited to get to do something special!

  1. When summer comes, please mail us some of your awesome produce. But only the legal kind. And Evan has great taste. In both cereal and glasses. You have a beautiful family!
