Back to Branson

The Frick Family "Four" headed to Branson again this year. Frick Number Five stayed with his Grammy and Grandpa Tracy to give the rest of us a break (sorry Buddy but your little toddler brain is not ready for this yet).
Of course we started with Silver Dollar City; the kids had so much fun but it was darned hot and humid. Here is the progression of things:

With Ethan being almost 6 we thought he'd like the big kid coaster this year. Nope, he still loves the little one and rode it about 400 times....

....unlike Sheridan who wanted to ride Powder Keg all day. It goes from 0-60 in two seconds. Look at our hair and faces as it leaves our stomachs behind!

There was a new water ride this year - Huck and Tom's Riverblast or something horrendous-sounding like that. Basically it's an enormous water fight between boats. Sher and Phil stood up on dry land and just absolutely doused people down on the boats.

At this point we met up with Brian, Drew, and Erin Kruckemyer, and Brian's folks Marty and Alan. Yay! We took a scenic tour of the area surrounding Branson and into northern Arkansas. There was very little scenic about it unfortunately.

Mrs. Cool on the train

Marti and Alan Kruckemyer. We did get to sit in a second-level "dome" car and that was really neat!

Ethan's favorite part was the train of course.

The kids are all such good friends and get along so well! This is on Branson Landing - I highly recommend it.

Mr. and Mrs. Frick :)

What a gem of a picture. It's very difficult to interpret their orientation.

The last day we went to Talking Rocks Cavern. Before the tour we "sluiced" for gems in sand.

Looks to me like a good excuse to play in the water.

The cave goes down 125 feet and was very awesome. No old ladies to tend to this year, thank God.
