Evan had his 2nd birthday party this weekend. My baby isn't really a baby anymore.
What else do you do for an August birthday besides eat ice cream and play outside in the water?
Family and good friends all came over to celebrate and play. The weather did not disappoint. There was a heat warning and never did a cloud grace our presence.
Not as messy as last year! Only because ice cream doesn't crumble! I don't have any pictures up yet of him blowing out his candles - he actually did it though. I told him they were hot and to blow on them. I think he looks SO much like Ethan at this age.

The kids (and Brian) played in the water afterward. Evan's favorite game was to pour water on Grampa Tracy - he dumped it in Grampa's shoe when he wasn't looking...quite funny!
Ethan on the Slip-N-Slide. What's with the cushion at the end now? Grass burns were part of the fun in the day! Today's kids aren't allowed to get hurt....they still flew past it, always out of control, and got grass burns anyway. I think that's excellent.

Evvie and Cammy finally got into the splashing. They didn't like the cold water. Whatever. Look at their blubber! It was such a fun day despite the heat! Anytime you get together with friends and family you can't go wrong. Thanks everyone for a great day! Happy Birthday little Buddy!
