Now I've done it. I've become a suburban soccer Mom and I drive a Minivan to the games (I can't even find my van after games because there are 50 just like it). I hated the thought of this a few years ago because I didn't like that devote-my-life-to-kids-and-soccer-and-drive-a-minivan reputation that 30-something women in Johnson County seem to have. But you know what? I love it for my kids' sake. They both have a lot of fun doing it and Phil and I approach the whole thing as "bettering yourself" and "playing as a team" rather than the win/lose focus. Just don't put a soccer bumper sticker on my minivan. That's where I draw the line and Phil would actually faint from probable paint damage.

Sheridan's soccer game
Sher has really come around this year. She mostly plays defender but she has also carved out a nice little goalie position for herself and does a great job. (Now I sound like I'm bragging about my kids...a big no-no in my book of soccer-momming.)

Probable paint damage--Laughing loudly right now!! You go soccer Momma! Maybe it would be more cool if you had a martini in hand while rooting for the young-uns.
