A Whole Lotta December!

December was absolutely bustling with activity (that's some literary phrasing at work) but SO fun!  Below are all the things we did with friends and family throughout the month.  And let's not forget the SNOW!  Thanks to everyone who sent Christmas cards to us - we LOVED looking at all the kids, animals, families, and memories.  2012 was just great!

*For some reason the pictures aren't very clear on the Blog - if you want a much more clear look, just click on them.  They really do look better.

Trimming the Tree:

A Holiday favorite of the FFF!  Who needs their kids' heights notched in the woodwork when you can just let them decorate the entire tree and see where all the ornaments go???  I smiled to myself, truly amused as I fixed them later that night.

Evan's ornaments were all belly-button high on about 3 branches total.  It was really pretty darn cute.

Ethan, being fairly analytical (and Sheridan more whimsical), made sure the ornaments were spaced at precise mathematical increments.  Just kidding on that.  But seriously.  :)

Tiff and Brian's Christmas Dinner Party:

Good friends. Good wine.  Even better food.  Good cookin' Tiff!

The Guys - these are some pretty awesome dudes: Jon, Phil, Craig, and Brian.

The Gals - we had so much fun!  Tiffany's in the middle.

Just goofing a little.  Classic J on the right.

Snow Day!!!

Kids, Daddy, Macy and Peaches - the WHOLE CREW went careening down our icy cul-de-sac.  Funniest darned thing I ever saw.

For the first time in TEN YEARS all children wanted to play in the snow and loved it.  No one was sick, snotty, crying, mad, or hurt.  Hallelujah Praise the Lord, it only took a decade.

We tried tobogganing again this year with Peaches, our snow-worshiping St. Bernard niece-dog.  She did not disappoint!

Gingerbread Houses:

We went to Aunt Christie and Uncle Todd's to make some awesome gingerbread homes.  The girls got one, the boys got the other.  It was really fun!!  There was more frosting and candy in their mouths than on the houses for sure.

Early Christmas Eve in Wellsville:

We did it on Sunday night so we could see Brad and Carissa...and Chuck and Blair.

Grammy bought jammies for all the grand-babies plus her!  They were SO cute!  I just love this photo.

My Daddy on Christmas Eve's Eve.  He was too sick for Christmas Day.  :(

Grand-kids getting ready to open a few gifts Sunday night....

Ethan reading the little boys Christmas stories.  I was a little misty-eyed.

Christmas Day is Here!

Looking our spiffy best on Christmas Morning.  Even Macy, caught up in the Christmas spirit, posed properly.  ha!
Excited to get some opening done!

 Pretty girl with Great-Grandma Bettye

All the Kramer/Coughenour cousins!  They get along so well, but for gosh sakes, we need another girl in there!  Sheridan is positively done with the male gender.  And considering she's going into Middle School in 8 months, that is FINE by us.

Carrie and Cammy

The Lovely Ladies of Christmas - Taylor, Jay, Carrie, me, and Jenny.

Frick Christmas:

We celebrated Christmas Eve with Juju and Grandpa Phil, Christie, Todd, Kate and Reed.  Then the grandparents stayed the night and started Christmas morning with us!

Opening a few gifts....

iCarly still reigns.

His sweet, beloved Bumblebee from Transformers.

Very sweet little Frick cousins, cute as can be on Christmas Eve.

Sher (10) and Kate (7) looking very grown-up.  She is Sheridan's sole female cousin.  (Thank God for the Weber girls too! 2nd (or 3rd?) cousins are close enough for us!)

Ethan (8), Reed (7), and Evan (4) looking very innocent on this Night Before Christmas.

The extended Frick Family.  We had such a wonderful Christmas and Holiday Season.  We couldn't have asked for better and we are THANKFUL for all we have been blessed with in 2012.
