Spring Birthdays

The Frick Family Five hosted the spring birthdays this year - Sheridan (May 8th), Camden (April 27th), and Grammy Jo (May 2nd). There were a couple of "big" birthdays this year, so we did it up in style...cake, cupcakes, hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, beans, veggies, and berries with angel food cake. The food list goes on, and so does my gravity-challenged rear-end from sampling it all.

Sheridan is happy to be eight!

Cupcake horse with 8 trick candles that didn't do their job. The frosting was irrestible though!

Present from Grandma Bettye - a book of cloth dress-up dolls that was so cute!

Cookie decorating set from Aunt Carrie and Phillip.
Patsy Cline with her new cowboy boots from Grammy and Grandpa Tracy, and guitar from Uncle Jon. To go with the boots she will be getting a saddle from Juju and Grandpa Phil so she can ride this summer with Aunt Debbie.

Sher opening presents while Juju manages multiple grandchildren.

Part of the Kruckemyer clan - three generations Marti, Brian, and Erin. What great friends these people are!

Another generational picture on the Frick side. Nice smile Phil. Sorry ladies, he's taken.

Cam Turns One!

Making a big mess with his cake, which he loved. Does it maybe look like Carrie's chin is very smooth and even? That's because I had to airbrush the chocolate frosting off her face.

The Prince on his 1st birthday. Love you buddy!

Opening his presents...

What a beautiful day!!!

Keeping the birthday boy happy by spreading dandelion seeds all over my yard.

Who turned the big 6-0?

Mom wanted to be "passed over" on her 60th birthday. It was nice of her to put her grandchildren first, but do you really think I'd let her birthday go without some sort of fuss? I'm obnoxious if nothing else. Here she is eating her birthday "cake"....

which was mixed berries on angel food cake with whipped cream.

Mom getting her present from Jon - a coupon for "date night" sometime soon. It was very sweet!

  1. Looked like a wonderful day! Happy birthday to Sheridan! Loved the cupcake horse idea, too.
