Ethan is Six!

Almost. His birthday is September 29th, and he's been counting the days for a few months now.
What I love about birthday parties is that they're really just an excuse for all the family to gather. We have a rare situation where all the in-laws get along well so it's a pretty fun deal. I try to include pictures of almost everyone but there is so much random activity, inevitably someone doesn't make the cut. Like me, for example, because I'm always behind the lens!

I made Ethan's cake this year. Actually, Sheridan baked it, Ethan designed it, and I put it all together. The theme was jet-fighters. Or in this case, melty jet-fighters. It was 86 that day!

The opening of gifts went as expected - he tore through everything and loved it all!
Evan has a particular affinity for the men in his life - his father and both grandfathers are the front runners.

What was cool was Christie and Todd brought a big styrofoam airplane that everyone loved playing with, and it fit the theme!

Cam after cake. And Cam was after a lot of cake! :)

Sweet little cousins Reed and Kate who will, incredibly, be FIVE next month!

Krucks and Fricks all at one table

Who even knows what Jon was describing. Maybe how he was going to go shave his Jesus beard?

Sher throwing the airplane. Wait, that's awfully close to me!

Well, we were at Train Park after all....here comes one now!
Thanks to all the family and friends who came out and celebrated with us. It really, really means the world to Phil and I that three times a year you all come out to make our children feel so loved!
