The Christmas Marathon

Christmas Eve was spent with Phil's family. It was a particularly special occasion - Aunt Marilyn (Judy's sister) flew in from Chicago to spend the evening with us. Also Cecil made the trip with Judy and Phil - it is his 94th Christmas and that is definitely something to celebrate. It was a really nice evening; I am blessed with wonderful in-laws who, years ago, accepted me as one of them! By the way, this winter Phil and I have been together 16 years - married for over 12 of them.

Christmas Morning

Santa came! Sheridan wasn't really sure he would - she thought Ethan and herself fought too much lately. Thankfully they really are very good kids!

We clean up pretty well. The flash reflection from behind looks like Phil is holding a little angel. Right.

Christmas Day

"Santa" gifts at the Kramer household. This is so awesome..... see Jon's scarf? Mom knitted ALL of us scarves for our "homemade" present this year. They are SO neat - much better than your average crocheted scarf! We all got different colors and textures and were all so touched by her thought!

I swear Grandpa Richard smiles more and more every year. He actually has a pleasant look on his face this Christmas. It only took 93 years! That's cousin Heath (Jaylene's hubby) on the left.

The family was serenaded by Peyton (Jay and Heath's son) and Cammy. I don't think they were playing Silent Night! :)

The Kramer and Coughenour Matriarchs

Opening presents with the Coughenour family! This tradition has occured for the last 40 years.

Grandma Virginia's scarf from Mom. It is such a beautiful snow-white color!

Carrie and Cammy, Dad, and Jon and Taylor opening gifts! Brad and Carissa were in Wichita for Christmas Day this year - they visited Mom and Dad on Christmas Eve.

It was a great Christmas! My Dad pointed out that every year is great, but the memories seem to get better and better. How true!
