Pathetic. That's what my blogging has been. But I don't feel that bad about it because in its place I've been preparing for lots of time with family and friends.
A patient told me yesterday that Christmas is not a favorite Holiday of hers. She views it in the non-religious sense, which is why I think it's lost meaning for her. But she did have a good point. She asked, "Why do we wait all year to show someone we love them by buying them things because we're obligated to?" Hm. Good point. Puts the gift-giving in perspective.
Show those around you how you care for and love them year-round. Do not wait until the very end of another Season. Can you imagine how a life-time of "waiting until the end of the year" may cause regret?
So anyway, have a very loving and memorable Christmas. Hope you had a great Hannukah, Kourtney!
More blogging to come...
